The Seafire FM200 gas suppression system is a gas extinguishing agent approved throughout Europe. It is the replacement gas for Halon which was banned completely at the end of 2003 – and is used as standard equipment by many of the world’s leading boat builders including Azimut, Bennetti, Fairline, Ferretti, Gobbi, Gulfcraft, Ocean Alexander, Pershing, Princess, Rodman, Sealine, Searay, and Sunseeker. Other well known users are NATO, NASA, Armed Forces throughout the world, and major banks.
It is a clean, non conductive, gas that leaves no residue.This means that equipment including radar; electronics and the engine itself are undamaged and can be fully operational after use. It is deployed automatically but can have a manual option.
SeaFire is CE marked, has MCA approval and can be used throughout Europe including Spanish flagged boats. Units can be supplied for self-fitting or you may prefer us to survey your vessel.
